I met Nyles after working with Film School on blue. He had recorded a few solo tracks for a friend, which perfectly captured the glitchy, electronic pop mood I had in mind for orange. We worked on the release for almost two years, but it was definitely worth the wait—orange was our most ambitious release, taking the label's sound in a completely new direction.
